I deeply believe in the transformative power of words and their ability to open paths, build trust, and change realities. For me, every well-told story holds the potential to inspire, connect, and leave a lasting impact.

As a journalist and communicator, I dreamed of creating WoodlandStories Magazine, a bilingual platform designed to spotlight Hispanic entrepreneurs, business owners, and leaders in The Woodlands and the greater Houston metropolitan area.

I bring over 25 years of professional experience in journalism, academia, and strategic communication. Throughout my career, I have worked connecting individuals with political, social, and economic institutions, always guided by a clear purpose: improving lives through communication.

My editorial work is characterized by a deep sensitivity to the stories that truly matter. I believe communication is not only about informing, but about building bridges, fostering empathy, and driving positive change.

My academic background includes a Master’s degree in Political Science with an emphasis on public policy, along with two specializations in Administrative Management and Public Opinion and Marketing. This foundation has allowed me to gain a comprehensive understanding of the social, cultural, and economic dynamics of Latin America and the Hispanic market in the United States.

Over time, I realized that many entrepreneurs build solid companies but do not always know how to communicate their value, purpose, or impact. That realization gave birth to my vocation: helping them bring visibility to their businesses, organize their message, and transform their story into a strategic asset.

Beyond my professional work, I strongly believe in service. Since moving to The Woodlands, I discovered the value of volunteer work and actively collaborate with nonprofit organizations, contributing my time and experience to the community.

My experience as a university professor—currently teaching Spanish to foreigners—and my role as director of online conversations during the most critical moments of the pandemic reflect my resilient, creative spirit and commitment to continuous learning.

I am the mother of Juan Camilo, a lover of Hispanic culture, reading, and travel. I deeply value people who strive every day to grow and improve, convinced that true success is built with purpose and humanity.

Today, through WoodlandStories Magazine, my mission is clear: to give voice to those who are transforming our region, helping them communicate who they are, what they represent, and why their story deserves to be told.
